Event Design

Training & Coaching

The content of my  training, coaching  and workshop sessions aim at people working in the scientific conference market such as locations, associations, universities or others with an interest in the industry. Content is created upon existing experience and knowledge within your team or your invitees. To give you an idea:

  • What are the characteristics of this market and what does this imply for my organisation?
  • How can you organise a professional site inspection with a Wow-factor?
  • What makes a winning bid? Are you really as unique as you think?
  • How can I prepare a proposal that makes a difference?
  • What are the pitfalls of and what is the function of culture?

Project Management

Because of my know-how, experience and versatility , I support various projects on the scientific conference market. I always work in close consultation with your  team to keep cost low yet  book results. You may think of:

  • Developing and embedding new (sales & marketing) projects and plans
  • Innovating the process of successful proposals
  • New business aiming at your accommodation, organisation or destination

Would you like to brainstorm on specific requirements? Please let me know!

Event Design

The Event Design Canvas is a universal methodology to strategically design events and conferences. Who are your stakeholders, what aims do they pursue. You need many answers to be able to start prototyping your next impactful event.

In a minimum of 2 sessions we systematically design events with a diverse group of people involved in the development of the event or participants to the event.  This interactive methodology embraces the diversity of its designers.

In the first session the stakeholder alignment will be made as well as the overarching aim. After this first step, we use the canvas to research the various stakeholders in detail. From these activities an enormeous amount of information is harvested. As a result this will enable us to define the change of behaviour which is starting point for the actual design principles.

In de 2nd session we can quickly design various prototypes on basis of all knowledge harvested. All valuable aspects from these prototypes become the starting point of a new impactful event that will be embraced by all stakeholders.
